Welcome to the Four Mamas Consignment Sale! We are always looking for sellers who want to earn money by sharing their well-loved MJ with our customers.
We strive to make this an easy process for you and we hope to answer all of your questions here.

1.) You get to price your MJ at the value you want! We typically suggest pricing it at 40% of the retail price, so if a dress is $52, a range of $20-22 is recommended. If you are eager to sell and just want it gone, feel free to price lower.
2.) There is a consignor fee of $15.00 that will be deducted from your earnings.
3.) You receive 70% of your sales!
4.) We do set of maximum of $50 per piece entered as we have found that consignment shoppers will not spend more than that at our sale.

1.) The first thing you'll do is register with our Four Mamas consignment website:

2.) If you have used this system before, you will already have a user login.
3.) Once you have registered, you will click on Enter Items and add your MJ! Your Consignor Fee will be deducted from your earnings.
4.) We suggest organizing your clothes by size as it makes it easier to enter.
Do I need to know the exact name of every piece ?
No, but a good rule of thumb when entering the item name is to describe them in a way that anyone could figure out which piece it is if the tag becomes detached. If you would like to look up the exact name, www.mjclookbooks.com is our favorite resource.
What seasons and conditions of MJ do you take?
We take all seasons at both our sales and all conditions! If you have items that would be described as "play condition", please highlight it on the tag and keep those items separate from the rest of your clothes. We have a separate rack for play condition items.
Do Sellers Shop Early?
Absolutely! We couldn't do this sale without you so you are welcome to shop on Thursday evening.

We suggest using zip ties to connect the shoes and then pinning the tag to the zip tie. This ensures that the shoes stay together and the tag can be easily accessed.

Please print on light colored or white cardstock. The bar code must be dark and not blurred so we can easily scan at checkout.

After several sales and a countless amount of pants falling off hangers, we have discovered that binder clips are the way to go! Also notice the tag is pinned to the inner MJ tag, not the actual clothes.

We greatly prefer wire hangers. They take up less room on the racks and binder clips can be easily used on them. When hanging items, make sure the hanger is facing left, making a question mark.

Use binder clips to secure rompers and other items that keep falling off the hanger. We don't want any of your items falling off and landing on the floor.

We have found that socks and tights sell better when they are out of the bag and clipped together with a binder clip. You can then attach the tag to the binder clip.

We have found that shoppers love a good deal! On Saturday, July 9 we offer Discount Day in which most of our inventory will be 50% off. It is your choice to participate in this. There is a button when you are tagging that you can check if you want your items discounted on Saturday.

We understand that you are busy! We are happy to offer this VIP Service to you if you want to sell your items but don't have time to enter, tag, and hang. You bring us your items and we do the rest!
